A tour of the Safy main screen
By the end: You'll know where everything is on the dashboard, and how to see at a glance that the system is healthy.
Before you start
- Safy is installed and connected to your child's WhatsApp.
The dashboard opens automatically after connecting. There's a menu of tabs on the side, and a row of child cards at the top.
Choosing a child
At the top of the screen there's a card for each child, showing the connection status: Connected, Connecting... or Disconnected. Click a card to see that child's data. A red dot on a card marks alerts you haven't seen yet.
The tabs
The cards in System Status
- WhatsApp — the connection state. The card's ⋮ menu has a "Reconnect" option.
- Messages — how many messages were received, and when the latest arrived.
- Alerts — the total number of alerts, and how many came in the last 24 hours.
Below them you can choose a time range (daily, weekly, monthly or yearly) and see the most active contacts and groups, and activity by hour. There are also the Recent Events and Subscribed Channels cards. The bottom of the screen shows the internet status: "Internet" or "No internet".
At the top of the screen there's also a button for the social graph.
The daily analysis counter
The top of the screen shows how many messages have been analysed today out of your plan's allowance. When you reach it, you'll see "You have reached your daily limit.", and Safy won't analyse more messages until the end of the day.
How to know it worked
In the "System Status" tab, the "WhatsApp" card shows "Connected", and the bottom of the screen shows "Internet".
