Chat summaries: a summary of any chat in one click
By the end: You'll get a summary of a conversation — its topics, tone and safety level — without reading every message.
Before you start
- The first chat load has finished.
A chat summary gives a quick picture of one chat: what's being discussed, the tone, and whether anything needs your attention.
Creating a summary
- Go to the "Monitoring" tab.
- Find the chat and click "Summarize" in the "Summary" column.
- Choose a period: "Last Day", "Last Week" or "Last Month".
- Wait while the summary is processed.
You can also click the star button on a contact or group row in the most-active lists, in the "System Status" tab.
What's in the summary
- Conversation Summary — what happened in the chat during the period you chose.
- Key Insights — the points worth knowing.
- Labels — topics, conversation tone and safety level.
The summary is based on the last 50 messages in the period you chose.
Your daily summary allowance
The number of summaries per day depends on your plan. You can see it in "Settings" → "Plan" → "Daily Summaries", and on the counter in the summary window.
Automatic daily report
An automatic daily report, and turning on "Daily Summary" for a chat, are available only on the Pro plan with a Safy-Box device.
How to know it worked
The "Summary for" window opens with the chat's name, a summary, insights and labels.
If it doesn't work
- Seeing "You have reached your daily limit. Please try again tomorrow."? You've used all of today's summaries. Try again tomorrow, or upgrade. See Account and subscription.
- Seeing a message that there are no messages in the selected period? Choose a longer period.
- The "Daily Summary" toggle is locked? It's a Pro feature with Safy-Box. "Summarize" is available on every plan.
