How to check which version of Safy is installed
By the end: You'll know which version of Safy you have installed.
Before you start
- Safy is installed on your computer.
The version number tells you whether you need to update, and support may ask for it.
In the Safy icon menu
- Click the Safy icon in the taskbar (Windows) or menu bar (Mac).
- Look for the grey Version line — the version number is next to it, for example 1.4.5.
On the dashboard
The version number appears in the bottom corner of the dashboard, for example v1.4.5. It's hidden in a very narrow window — make the window wider to see it.
In your account on the website
Your account on the website shows a "Version" tile with the version the app reported the last time it opened. See Signing in.

How to know it worked
You can see the version number on the Version line in the Safy icon menu.
If it doesn't work
- Your account on the website shows "—" instead of a version? The app hasn't reported one yet. Open Safy on your computer and check again.
- The version on the website differs from the menu? The website shows what was reported at the last launch. The icon menu is the accurate one.
