System events: who joined, who left and what was deleted
By the end: You'll know where to see important changes in your child's WhatsApp, even when they aren't alerts.
Before you start
- Safy is connected to your child's WhatsApp.
Besides alerts about content, Safy records events in your child's WhatsApp. They help you understand what's changing around your child, like a message from someone new or a deleted message.
Where to see events
In the "System Status" tab, on the "Recent Events" card. It shows up to 10 events from the last 7 days.
Event types
- New Contact Message — a message from a number your child wasn't in touch with before.
- Member Joined / Member Left — changes in a group's members.
- Group Updated — a group was created, or its name, picture or description changed.
- Message Deleted — a message that was deleted. If Safy captured it before it was deleted, its content is shown too.
- Message Edited — a message that was changed after it was sent.
- Chat Removed — a chat deleted from the phone.
Channel events are shown only if you turned on channel analysis. See System settings.
How to know it worked
The "Recent Events" card shows events with their type badges.
If it doesn't work
- The card is empty? There were no events in the last 7 days, or the chat load hasn't finished yet.
- Looking for an older event? The card shows only the last 7 days. Content alerts are kept in the "Alerts" tab.
